Important Note: If you are buying a resale home, the seller will turn off utilities to the house. You need to set up service with each utility to begin as soon as possible after you close on the purchase – make arrangements prior to closing. You’ll need to know if the propane tank is owned (would stay with the house) or lease so you can make arrangements accordingly.
